Most recently, I joined the corporate world, jumping into business development at Amazon Web Services. Over the last 16 years of my career, I have made mistakes, tried and failed, and continued to learn and grow as a woman and a professional. Here's where I think I excel (and have heard as such from colleagues and supervisors): I am empathetic and motivated, with a niche for seeing the forest and the trees in everything I do. I am deeply committed to social justice, anti-racism, and equity. And I believe in promoting, but more importantly, in implementing and practicing authentic approaches to diversity, equity, and inclusion. While my previous roles often focused on education, I am a thoughtful leader, with team management, portfolio oversight, and organizational development expertise across a variety of social sectors, including women's empowerment, refugee and immigrant populations, early childhood through higher education institutions, and many more. A very big data nerd, I love to design and test continuous improvement approaches and geek out on dissemination. Currently, I working with Olin Business School's Center for Experiential Learning at Washington University, and I am teaching and consulting with the University of Missouri-St. Louis. I am always exploring opportunities to partner, consult, and volunteer. With my background, I neatly fit into the space between research and practice, and feel confident that I can help you strengthen implementation, ensure your programs are evidence-based and customer obsessed, and that your outcomes, research, and lessons learned are disseminated to your specific audiences, in a strategic, thoughtful, and context-appropriate way.
